Our founders, Izak & Wessel, are foodie friends who met at Stellenbosch University.  They have cooked together for years, and claimed the title of My Kitchen Rules South Africa Season 3 in 2021. Wessel is a food product developer and entrepreneur in the drinks industry and Izak works as a consultant in the food and wine industry. They love sharing their passion for food with others, and love to bring people together to experience flavours, make memories and discover unique locations in Cape Town. Through this GATHER was born.
